“To the right stands the newly opened Temple Auditorium, on the northeast corner of Fifth and Olive streets. It would later become the Philharmonic Auditorium, home of the Los Angeles Philharmonic from 1920 to 1964. Across the street is Central Park, renamed Pershing Square in 1918.”
